Job Description

We are seeking a skilled C++ Developer with 4-6 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining Windows-based applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP/OOPS) principles, C++ development. The candidate should be capable of developing high-performance, scalable, and reliable software solutions while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

Technical Skills:

4-6 years of hands-on experience in C++ development.

Strong understanding of OOPS concepts:

Encapsulation

Inheritance

Polymorphism

Abstraction

Design Patterns

Strong knowledge of STL (Standard Template Library).

Experience with Windows Operating System internals and system programming.

Good understanding of:

Win32 APIs

Multithreading and concurrency

Memory management

IPC (Inter-Process Communication)

File systems and Windows services

Experience with Visual Studio and debugging tools.

Knowledge of software design principles and architecture patterns.

Familiarity with source control tools such as Git, SVN, or Azure DevOps.

Understanding of unit testing and code quality tools.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with MFC, COM/DCOM, or ATL.

Exposure to networking/socket programming on Windows.

Experience with modern C++ standards (C++11/14/17/20).

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and build tools.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using C++ on Windows platforms.
• Apply strong Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles to create maintainable and scalable solutions.
• Develop and enhance Windows desktop applications, services, and system-level components.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Optimize application performance, memory management, and multithreading capabilities.
• Work with software architects and product teams to define technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Develop technical documentation, design specifications, and unit tests.
• Collaborate with QA teams for integration and system testing.
• Support product releases and provide production issue resolution when required.
