We are seeking an experienced Linux Platform Security Engineer with strong expertise in RHEL platform development, DevSecOps, vulnerability management, and secure infrastructure engineering. The ideal candidate will be responsible for securing Linux-based platforms, managing security compliance requirements, addressing vulnerabilities, automating security controls, and enabling secure CI/CD pipelines across cloud and containerized environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure Linux platform solutions based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• Drive platform security initiatives across infrastructure, applications, and DevOps environments.
• Identify, analyze, and remediate security vulnerabilities, including CVEs, compliance findings, and platform risks.
• Implement security controls and hardening standards aligned with JITC, MUDG, and FIPS/FIP compliance requirements.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and Shell Scripting.
• Integrate security scanning and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage and optimize Jenkins-based build and deployment workflows.
• Support container security initiatives in Docker and Kubernetes (K8s) environments.
• Implement DevSecOps best practices across cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure secure software delivery.
• Perform vulnerability assessments, patch management, and security audits.
• Support incident response, root cause analysis, and security remediation activities.
