About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Executive – Motor Placement to manage the end-to-end processing of motor insurance enquiries, from quotation through to policy binding and issuance.

The role will involve close coordination with Business Development Managers (BDMs), insurers and internal teams to ensure quotations are accurate, policies are placed efficiently, and all documentation and processes are completed in line with company and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of motor insurance, underwriting and insurer processes, along with strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively under tight timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Motor Insurance Placement

• Handle end-to-end motor insurance enquiries from quotation to policy binding and issuance.
• Review customer and vehicle information to ensure all required details are accurate and complete.
• Obtain and compare quotations from relevant insurers based on customer requirements.
• Coordinate with insurers to obtain quotations, clarify underwriting requirements and secure competitive terms.
• Ensure policies are accurately processed and issued within agreed timelines.
• Follow up with insurers on pending quotations, approvals, documentation and policy issuance.
• Review policy documents for accuracy before sharing them with customers or relevant stakeholders.

BDM & Insurer Coordination

• Work closely with BDMs to understand customer requirements and support the placement of motor insurance policies.
• Coordinate with insurers and underwriting teams to resolve queries and obtain necessary approvals.
• Communicate updates clearly to BDMs and internal stakeholders throughout the placement process.
• Escalate any delays, discrepancies or underwriting concerns promptly.

Operations & Compliance

• Ensure all motor insurance transactions are processed in accordance with company policies, insurer requirements and applicable regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of quotations, policies, documentation and customer information.
• Ensure all required documents are collected and properly maintained.
• Identify discrepancies or missing information and ensure these are resolved before policy issuance.
• Maintain accurate and timely updates in internal systems and insurer portals.

Skills & Competencies

• Good knowledge of Motor Insurance and underwriting processes.
• Proficiency in insurer portals and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong follow-up and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple enquiries and transactions simultaneously.
• Good problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under tight timelines and in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with BDMs, insurers and internal teams.
• Customer-focused approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in motor insurance operations, placement, underwriting support or a related insurance function.
• Prior experience working with UAE motor insurance products and insurers is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with insurer portals and policy processing systems is an advantage.
• Candidates with experience in insurance brokerage operations or motor insurance placement will be preferred.
