Salesforce Developer

Kforce India is hiring for a Core Application Developer (Salesforce) in the Business Applications service line. Delivers custom Salesforce functionality and system integrations on Energy & Utilities Cloud, to the standards set by the Integration Lead.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Apex classes, triggers, batch/queueable/scheduled Apex, LWC and Flows on Energy & Utilities Cloud.

• Build and maintain integrations with SAP BTP and customer APIs using REST/SOAP, Bulk API and platform events.

• Translate user stories and technical designs into clean, test-covered, governor-limit-safe code.

• Write Apex unit tests, participate in code reviews and support CI/CD deployments (Copado/Gearset/Git).

• Debug and resolve defects across dev, SIT, UAT and production-support environments.

• Contribute reusable components and maintain technical documentation.

• Collaborate with Integration Designers, QA and Data Migration to keep end-to-end journeys working.

Must-have skills

▪ 5+ yrs hands-on Salesforce development — Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, Flows, platform configuration.

▪ Practical integration experience — Salesforce REST/SOAP/Bulk APIs and integration patterns.

▪ Solid understanding of the Salesforce data model, security model and governor limits.

▪ Git-based version control and a Salesforce CI/CD tool (Copado, Gearset, AutoRABIT).

▪ Agile/Scrum delivery experience.

Nice-to-have skills

◦ OmniStudio / Industries CPQ exposure.

◦ MuleSoft or SAP integration awareness.

◦ Energy & Utilities domain exposure.

Certifications

• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (exam PDI / CRT-450) — required.

• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (exam PDII) — preferred.

• Salesforce Certified Administrator (exam ADM-201) — a plus.

• Salesforce Certified OmniStudio Developer — a plus for the E&U context.
