Job Description
Position Name: Finance Manager
Experience : 4 - 8 Yrs
Location : Bangalore
Job Responsibilities:
Ensuring accuracy of financial statements with in-depth knowledge of Accounting Standards and Ind AS with detailed review of GL and accounting across all group companies
Monitor and streamline the accounting policies across group companies and ensure consistency in accounting across entities.
Handling of Statutory and Tax audits at the Group level and individual company level including subsidiaries
Managing DD requirements across all group entities
Implementing IFC across the organisation and its subsidiaries including sampling on a periodic basis and maintenance of documentation
Handling and co-ordinating all audit related activities at the group consol level and at subsidiaries
Be a de-facto controller for subsidiaries and ensure timely accounting, reporting and compliance at subsidiaries.
Preparing month-end reports for management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements and support reporting requirements across group companies
Direct & Indirect Tax Management and issues that may arise with respect to taxes
Treasury Operations and management across the group companies
Ensuring compliance with government regulations across group companies
Monitor actual performance versus budget and report variances to management on a periodic basis
Work closely across all departments of the organisation, as well as external parties such as vendors and customers.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements for entities and group at a consol level
Be involved with mergers and acquisitions, which requires an understanding of complex accounting issues
Work within the general framework of a company's overall accounting and reporting system and makes sure that all relevant information is available for management use in running the business.
Key Competencies:
From a technical skills perspective we have to look for group consolidation, IFC(internal controls), IndAS accounting experience, inventory management, processes setting up and erp implementations.
Any profile with most/many of these skill sets is what we look for.
Thorough knowledge of accounting (IND AS) / GST return filing and related compliance / Income tax compliance including tax audit requirements (TDS)
Financial statements preparation as per the companies act.
Experience with Big4/6. (mandate)
Qualification:
CA qualified.
In Depth knowledge of IND AS, Taxation and Statutory compliance & MIS.
