Junior SolidWorks Design Engineer

Job Description

Location: Sachin GIDC, Surat, Gujarat
Job Type: In-person
Salary: ₹18,000 – ₹22,000 per month (based on experience)
RMR INNOTECH is seeking a Junior CAD Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing configuration specific solidworks assembly with detailed part and assembly drawings, ensuring they meet technical specifications, and follows Design for Manufacturing/Assembling philosophy. ROLE DESCRIPTION
Create and modify Parts, assemblies and drawings in the Solidworks environment using features like sheet metal, etc.
The candidate shall be responsible for SolidWorks 3D modelling, drafting and BOM
preparation, design documentation control.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Mechanical Design & Modeling
  • Create configuration-specific SolidWorks assemblies and detailed part drawings including BOMs for industrial equipment and electrical assemblies.
  • Model intermediate assemblies (typically 500+ components) ensuring Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA).
  • Utilize SolidWorks sheet metal tools for enclosure and fabrication design.

3D EXPERIENCE/PDM Library Management

  • Work within the 3DEXPERIENCE and PDM cloud platform to upload, revise, and manage models and drawings
  • .Maintain organized records through document control systems
