UI/UX & Visual Designer Engineer

Raynetics Technologies B.V., an Amsterdam based startup, is hiring a UI/UX & Visual Design Engineer in India.

Raynetics builds the intelligence layer for the instruments that inspect semiconductors and advanced materials. Chips are now too small to measure easily. Electron and X-ray tools can see them, but reading what they see takes experts and days. Our software does that reading, so an engineer gets an answer within minutes. We are a team of 4 across the Netherlands, the USA and India.

The role

You own everything people see from Raynetics: the product interface, the website, and the decks, one-pagers and posts that tell our story to customers, partners and investors. You design it and you build it. Today the interface is built by the people who build the algorithms. We want someone who makes it their job.

What we expect

Your work will be judged next to that of the largest companies in our industry. You take a two-line brief to a first version in days, and you say when something is not good enough, including our own work. We work in writing, across time zones, so clear English and reliability matter more than hours online.

Requirements

• 3+ years designing web applications, dashboards or software products that shipped, with a portfolio showing one product interface and one deck, website or marketing piece.
• Strong proficiency in Figma.
• Strong grasp of UI/UX principles: visual hierarchy, typography, layout and color, with close attention to detail and visual consistency.
• Experience designing pitch decks, technical decks, one-pagers or marketing collateral.
• Strong presentation and storytelling skills. You can turn complex technical or business information into clear visual communication.
• Able to work independently and own a design project end to end, working closely with engineers and non-design colleagues.
• Strong communication skills, and quick to take feedback on board.
• Based in India, with at least six hours of overlap with the Dutch working day (about 12:30 to 20:00 IST).

Good to have

• Basic HTML/CSS and an understanding of modern web applications.
• Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop or InDesign.
• Data visualization, technical diagrams, or scientific and engineering visualization.
• B2B, deep-tech, scientific, engineering or enterprise software.
• Motion or interaction design.

This role is not for you if you only want product design, only want marketing design, or need a full spec to start. You would be the design team.

What we offer

INR 8 to 12 lakh a year, paid as a fixed monthly fee. Beyond that, you get full ownership of design, hard problems, and a team that decides in days. Your work will be in front of top chipmakers within weeks, you get a front-row seat to building a deep-tech company, and the role grows as fast as we do. Remote, flexible hours, tools paid.

You join as an independent contractor, full time, and handle your own taxes. The first three months are a trial on both sides. Start as soon as possible.
