Ansible Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Ansible Developer / Automation Engineer (5–8 years experience) to design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade automation solutions. This is a 100% Remote / Work from Home (WFH) position based in India.

Important: We are looking for Immediate Joiners or candidates with a maximum notice period of 20 days.

Key Responsibilities

Automation & Orchestration: Design, develop, and maintain modular Ansible Playbooks, Roles, and Collections using YAML.

Platform Management: Manage and optimize enterprise automation workflows using Ansible Automation Platform (AAP), Ansible Tower, or AWX.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate server provisioning, network configurations, and cloud infrastructure management (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Integration: Write custom Python scripts, develop custom Ansible modules/plugins, and integrate RESTful APIs with automation workflows.

CI/CD & DevOps: Integrate Ansible playbooks with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI) for continuous testing and automated deployments.

Security & Compliance: Enforce security standards using Ansible Vault for secrets management and automate compliance scanning/remediation.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Experience: 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, System Administration, or Automation Engineering with a heavy focus on Ansible.

Location: India (Remote / Work From Home).

Notice Period: Immediate joiner or maximum 20 days notice period.

Core Competencies: Advanced proficiency in Linux/Unix administration, Shell Scripting, and YAML.

Programming: Strong knowledge of Python for custom Ansible module development and API integrations.

Cloud & Networking: Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and network device automation.

Version Control: Expertise in Git branching strategies, code reviews, and repository management.

Preferred Qualifications

Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation or RHCE.

Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.

Familiarity with Terraform for cloud provisioning.
