Full Stack Engineer

Intelliveer is building a modern Practice Management System for US orthodontic clinics. Founded by an orthodontist who has experienced the industry's pain points firsthand, we're building around how practices actually operate.

We’re currently in Alpha with real-clinic validation underway. You’ll join at a stage where you can continue building from the ground up, influence technical decisions, and see firsthand how a SaaS product and company goes from Alpha → Production → Scale.

We're building the core operating platform for an orthodontic practice — from appointments, patient management, consultations and treatment planning to clinical charting, insurance, claims, payments, communications, imaging and AI-assisted workflows.

These systems are deeply connected, creating challenging engineering problems across data modelling, real-time workflows, performance, security, integrations and scale.

You'll:

• Build and own features end-to-end across frontend and backend.
• Design APIs, data models and scalable workflows.
• Solve engineering problems around performance, caching, concurrency and reliability.
• Work directly with feedback from real clinic usage.
• Contribute to architecture and technical decisions.
• Understand business problems and clearly explain technical decisions and trade-offs to stakeholders.
• Write well-tested, production-quality code.

This is what we use today, but our stack evolves with the product. As new problems emerge, you'll have the freedom to evaluate, propose and introduce technologies that make sense. We value sound engineering decisions over loyalty to a particular stack.

• 2–3 years of strong software engineering experience (3 years ideal).
• Strong full-stack fundamentals with experience building APIs and working with databases.
• Product-minded — interested in understanding why something is being built, not just how to implement it.
• Someone who thinks beyond the happy path — edge cases, maintainability, reliability and scale matter.
• Strong communicator and team collaborator.
• Independent, curious and comfortable questioning an approach when there's a better one.
• AI-aware and hands-on — you don't need to be an ML engineer, but you should be familiar with LLMs and modern AI applications, actively experiment with AI tools/APIs, and keep up with how AI is changing software development.
• Startup experience and a startup mentality are a strong plus — comfortable with ambiguity, iteration, learning quickly and taking ownership beyond narrowly defined tickets.
