Senior CMS Solution Architect – Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)

Location: Remote (India-based, supporting PST hours)

Duration: Contract (US Cross-Border PO)

We're seeking a Senior CMS Solution Architect with deep, hands-on Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) expertise to serve as the primary client-side technical lead on a large-scale enterprise CMS transformation. This is an architecture-ownership role: you'll drive solution design, technical governance, and delivery oversight while managing and collaborating with an external implementation partner — not a hands-on development role.

Responsibilities:

• 10+ years enterprise CMS experience, with 5+ years specifically in AEM architecture
• Must have direct, hands-on AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) delivery experience — AEM 6.x-only background does not meet this requirement
• Hands-on experience with Adobe Edge Delivery Services (EDS / formerly Franklin/Helix) — including document-based authoring workflows, performance-first delivery architecture, and EDS deployment/CI pipeline
• Strong Java/J2EE background plus working fluency in a modern frontend framework (React, Next.js, or Angular)
• Hands-on experience with AEM Sites, Assets, and Headless CMS (Content Fragments, GraphQL); AEM Forms is a plus, not required
• Demonstrated experience integrating AEM with Adobe Commerce Cloud specifically (not general e-commerce, and not a different commerce platform) and Salesforce
• Working experience with both AWS and Azure cloud platforms, beyond Adobe's own Cloud Manager
• Proven track record owning architecture for enterprise-scale, multilingual/multi-site AEM implementations (MSM/Blueprints)
• Direct experience managing an external implementation partner or systems integrator from the client side — including design authority, delivery governance, and vendor accountability
• Strong CDN, Dispatcher, caching, security, and performance optimization expertise
• Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills

Qualifications:

• Adobe Certified Master or Adobe Certified Expert credentials
• Prior pre-sales experience (solution proposals, estimation, RFP response)
• Experience defining architecture governance standards for large AEM programs
