Position: Senior System Administrator

Location: Visakhapatnam

Job Type: Full Time

Work Type: Onsite

Shift Timing: 6:30PM-3:30AM (Night shifts)

Experience : 8–12 years

Job Description:

Key Technical Skills:

- Windows Server & Active Directory

- Microsoft 365 / Office 365 Administration

- Domain level integrations

- Networking – LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, Routing & Switching

- Enterprise Firewalls, VPN & Network Security, Rules

- Enterprise Wi-Fi / Wireless Access Points

- VMware / Hyper-V Virtualization, any other virtualization infra

- Backup & Disaster Recovery

- Endpoint Management & Security

- Infrastructure Monitoring & Troubleshooting

- IT Vendor / MSP Management

- Incident Management and Root-Cause Analysis

- ISO & other compliance and IT framework experience

Leadership & Professional Skills:

- Ability to lead and guide IT infrastructure/support team members.

- Strong team coordination, task delegation and follow-up skills.

- Ability to take ownership of critical IT incidents and infrastructure issues.

- Good decision-making and problem-solving skills under pressure.

- Ability to prioritize tasks based on business impact and urgency.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both technical and non-technical teams.

- Ability to coordinate effectively with management, business teams, vendors and MSPs.

- Proactive approach toward identifying infrastructure risks and implementing improvements.

- Ability to work independently during the night shift and manage critical situations with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills:

- Sophos Firewalls

- Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD

- Microsoft Intune

- VDI

- Basic PowerShell or scripting knowledge.

- Microsoft Defender / Endpoint Security

- Cybersecurity

- Creates and maintains network diagrams, SOPs, runbooks and escalation procedures.

- Relevant Microsoft, Cisco, Aruba, Fortinet or VMware certifications.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 8–12 years of experience in System Administration, IT Infrastructure, or Infrastructure Support.

- Strong hands-on experience in Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, firewalls, virtualization, backup, and infrastructure security.

- Strong leadership, ownership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to manage critical infrastructure issues independently during night shifts.

- Strong decision-making skills with the ability to work under pressure.

- Strong ownership of infrastructure availability, security, performance, and business continuity.
