An Account Manager is responsible for the management of their accounts. You will focus on the accurate and timely delivery of creative work, ensuring commercial success for both the client and the agency. This is the ideal role for someone who is motivated and talented in building client relationships, and account strategy, and involved in New Business Development.
To succeed in this position, candidates should have exceptional communication and problem-solving skills. You should be resourceful, analytical, adaptable, and organized with the ability to build rapport with clients.
Required skills:
Leading Regional/Local accounts and building strategy to grow their Business
Preparing decks and presentations for new pitches and new business leads
Coordination with clients and ensuring all timelines are met and deliverables as per the scope of work are achieved as per the company’s commitment
Working with other team members to provide support and guidance as needed
Ensuring Total client satisfaction with regular client reviews
Maintaining excellent relationships with all clients in the executive's portfolio
Up-selling and cross-selling consulting services within the client business
Proactive thinking, which may not necessarily be consulting-services related
Tracking every media purchase - completed accurately and on time
Develop ideas briefs, feeding in research/account/marketing knowledge
Brief creative teams in a simple, concise, yet inspiring manner, ensuring, at all times, that they are fully aware of the client’s requirements
Critique creative work and provide evidence-based opinions
Approaching potential clients through new leads & other means
Detailing pricing and negotiating costs when necessary
Generating revenue & profit targets as defined for accounts
Travels to see clients, attend trade shows, or participate in industry events or training
Respect and follow our company culture – honest, open, responsive, team-oriented
Identify opportunities to improve agency processes and optimize profitability
Proven ability:
Experience of 3-5 years and above in the Advertising Industry
Planning, Creative and Project team members
Detail-oriented, a strong communicator and an effective presenter with the skills necessary to develop effective presentations.
Team player with strong intrapersonal and organizational skills
An integral part of Business Planning and other duties as the Company may reasonably specify from time to time
Skills and Qualifications:
Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or Related Fields.
Previous Media Agency Experience is a must.
