Job Description (Project Manager - Media Analytics)

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Media & Entertainment Practice and lead delivery engagements focused on content performance analytics, audience measurement, and media insights.

The ideal candidate will possess strong project and stakeholder management capabilities along with a solid understanding of media datasets spanning linear TV, syndicated measurement, and streaming/CTV ecosystems. The individual will work closely with clients, analytics teams, data engineers, and business stakeholders to drive successful program execution and deliver high-quality analytics solutions.

This role requires a blend of delivery leadership, client management, analytical thinking, and domain expertise to help media clients unlock actionable insights from content and audience data.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery for media analytics engagements, ensuring projects are executed on time, within scope, and meeting quality standards.
• Partner with clients and business stakeholders to understand objectives, define requirements, and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Create and maintain project plans, risk registers, status reports, and governance mechanisms to ensure effective execution and visibility.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration between analytics, data engineering, product, and business teams.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities while ensuring timely delivery of key milestones and client commitments.
• Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and serve as the primary point of contact for delivery-related discussions.
• Monitor project health, identify risks proactively, and implement mitigation strategies to address delivery challenges.
• Support interpretation and application of media datasets including syndicated, linear/TV, and streaming/CTV data for analytics use cases.
• Mentor and guide junior team members while fostering a culture of accountability, learning, and operational excellence.
• Ensure analytics outputs and deliverables align with business objectives and generate measurable value for clients.
• Facilitate stakeholder reviews, executive updates, and strategic discussions based on project progress and analytical findings.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery, governance, and team effectiveness.

Skills

Must Have

• 6+ years of overall professional experience with a minimum of 2+ years in Project/Program Management.
• Strong experience working with media datasets, including syndicated measurement, linear TV, and streaming/CTV data.
• Proven track record of leading analytics or data-driven projects from initiation through delivery.
• Excellent project planning, tracking, execution, and governance capabilities.
• Strong client-facing experience with demonstrated stakeholder management skills across business and technical teams.
• Experience managing distributed and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable execution plans.
• Strong ownership mindset with the ability to independently drive outcomes and resolve delivery challenges.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.
• Advanced SQL proficiency and experience working with large-scale data environments.
• Advanced Excel and Business Intelligence/Analytics experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with modern big data platforms such as Databricks, Spark, Hadoop, or cloud-based analytics environments.
• Exposure to PySpark, Python, and data engineering concepts.
• Experience with visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake, or similar cloud platforms.
• Consulting experience supporting Media & Entertainment clients.
• Experience in content analytics, audience measurement, content performance reporting, media planning, or research analytics.
• Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum Master, or equivalent project management certifications.

Eligibility

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, Business Administration, Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Media Studies, or a related field.
• Strong academic and professional track record with demonstrated success in delivery management and client engagement roles.
