Data Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer / Analytics Engineer to build and maintain modern data pipelines using Snowflake, dbt Cloud, and Fivetran . The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with cloud data platforms and be comfortable leveraging AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor to improve engineering productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain end-to-end data pipelines from source systems into Snowflake.
• Configure and manage data ingestion using Fivetran.
• Develop and maintain dbt models, tests, documentation, and deployment workflows.
• Design data models and semantic layers for analytics consumption.
• Implement data quality checks, validation processes, and data contracts.
• Use AI-powered coding assistants to automate development and documentation tasks.
• Review, validate, and deploy AI-generated code.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver scalable data solutions.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Snowflake
• Hands-on expertise in dbt Cloud
• Advanced SQL and data modeling skills
• Experience with Fivetran or similar ELT tools
• Data pipeline development and analytics engineering
• Automated testing and data quality frameworks
• Git-based development and CI/CD concepts
• Experience working with AI coding assistants (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, etc.)

Preferred Candidate Profile

• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Analytics Engineering.
• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake and dbt.
• Experience building production-grade ELT pipelines.
• Strong focus on automation, data quality, and governance.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
