TM1 Planning Analytics Developer / Architect

Role Description

We are seeking a skilled TM1 Planning Analytics Developer / Architect for a full-time, remote position based in India. The TM1 Planning Analytics Developer / Architect will design, develop, implement, and maintain IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) solutions supporting financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and business analytics.

Daily responsibilities include collaborating with business and technical teams to understand requirements, designing scalable TM1 models, developing cubes and dimensions, creating TurboIntegrator (TI) processes, implementing rules and feeders, integrating enterprise data sources, and optimizing system performance.

The role involves solution architecture, hands-on development, troubleshooting, data integration, application development, and ensuring the reliability, scalability, security, and efficiency of Planning Analytics environments. The candidate must be comfortable collaborating with U.S.-based teams and supporting U.S. time zones as required.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with IBM Planning Analytics / TM1 development and administration
• Hands-on experience designing and developing TM1 cubes, dimensions, hierarchies, rules, and feeders
• Proficiency in TurboIntegrator (TI) processes for data loading, transformation, automation, and integration
• Strong knowledge of MDX, TM1 scripting, and Planning Analytics modeling techniques
• Experience with Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW) and Planning Analytics for Excel (PAX/PAx)
• Experience with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, or financial consolidation
• Understanding of TM1 architecture, security, user/group administration, and environment management
• Experience integrating TM1 with SQL databases, ERP systems, ETL platforms, APIs, or other enterprise data sources
• Strong knowledge of TM1 performance tuning, including cube, feeder, rule, and data-loading optimization
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable TM1 solution architectures
• Experience with solution design, technical documentation, testing, deployment, and production support
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Finance, or a related field
• Experience with cloud platforms, data engineering, or modern analytics technologies is a plus
• IBM Planning Analytics / TM1 certification is a plus
