Title: SEO Specialist
Position Overview:
As an SEO Specialist at The Financialist, you will be responsible for optimizing our online presence to increase organic traffic, improve search engine rankings, and enhance overall visibility across various search engines. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective SEO strategies that align with our business objectives and drive measurable results.
Responsibilities:
Conduct keyword research to identify target keywords and phrases relevant to our industry and target audience.
Optimize on-page elements such as meta tags, headings, content, and internal linking structure to improve website visibility and user experience.
Develop and execute off-page optimization strategies, including link-building and outreach initiatives, to increase domain authority and inbound traffic.
Monitor and analyse website performance metrics using SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console) to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and search engine algorithms to ensure compliance and effectiveness of strategies.
Collaborate with content creators, web developers, and other stakeholders to integrate SEO best practices into website design and content creation processes.
Provide regular reporting and insights on SEO performance, trends, and opportunities to key stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role, with a track record of successful SEO strategies and campaigns.
In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO tools (e.g., Moz, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to make informed decisions and recommendations.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and levels of the organization.
Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
Google Analytics and Google Ads certifications are a plus.
