Application Support Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Application Support Engineer to join our technical support team. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates who are interested in building a career in application support, cloud technologies, databases, APIs, and enterprise software. The selected candidate will be trained on our products and technologies and will work closely with customers, development teams, QA, and implementation teams to troubleshoot application issues and provide timely resolutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 1 (L1) technical support for software applications.
• Understand customer-reported issues and perform initial troubleshooting.
• Reproduce reported issues and document findings clearly.
• Monitor support tickets and ensure timely responses and follow-ups.
• Troubleshoot application configuration, user access, permissions, and integration-related issues.
• Analyze application logs and error messages to identify possible root causes.
• Perform basic database queries for troubleshooting and data verification.
• Assist with API and integration troubleshooting.
• Coordinate with development and QA teams for issues requiring deeper investigation.
• Test fixes and validate resolutions before communicating them to customers.
• Maintain proper documentation of issues, solutions, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Participate in product training and continuously improve product knowledge.
• Follow defined SLAs and support processes.
• Communicate professionally with customers through email, calls, and support tickets.

Technical Skills

Basic knowledge or academic exposure to:

• SQL and relational databases
• REST APIs and JSON
• Web applications and HTTP/HTTPS concepts
• Cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
• Windows/Linux fundamentals
• Software troubleshooting and debugging concepts

Knowledge of Salesforce, PostgreSQL, AWS, Azure, or Microsoft SharePoint would be an added advantage but is not mandatory.

Educational Qualification

B.E./B.Tech/BCA/B.Sc/MCA/M.Sc or equivalent degree in:
