Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead the design of critical path/technology initiatives and provide thought leadership.
Study existing technology landscape and understand current application workloads and define Migration strategy to move applications and data to cloud
Design the overall VPC environment including subnets, security groups, server instances, storage instances, availability zones etc.
Design the AWS network architecture including VPN connectivity between regions and subnets
Designs, develops, documents, tests, and debugs new and existing configuration management (Terraform) infrastructure as code.
Design the HA / DR strategies
Documenting operational and security standards.
Work closely with other stakeholders and design optimal database/storage platform, analyzing complex distributed production deployments, and making recommendations to optimize performance
Evaluate AWS Cloud services and architecture for compliance with regulatory guidelines and perform risk assessment, threat modelling to identify & remediate vulnerabilities
Setup data storage & archival policies, encryption & data masking policies (at-rest and in transit)
Detect & mitigate fraud on AWS accounts.
Create Roles, Policies, and Assign to IAM Users and Entities.
Making sure the agreed infrastructure and architecture are implemented
