We’re looking for a Junior Graphic Associate who is creative, detail-oriented, and excited to work on a wide range of visual content for brands across social media and digital platforms.

The Role

As a Junior Graphic Associate, you will work closely with our creative and social media teams to conceptualise and create engaging 2D graphic content, social media creatives, brand assets, and static visual content.

This role is ideal for someone who has a strong visual sense, understands the fundamentals of design, and wants to build their experience working in a fast-paced agency environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Create engaging 2D graphics and static creatives for social media and digital platforms.
• Design social media posts, carousels, stories, campaign creatives, banners, and other digital assets.
• Work with the creative and social media teams to translate ideas, briefs, and concepts into strong visual communication.
• Maintain consistency with brand guidelines, typography, layouts, colours, and visual identity.
• Adapt existing creative concepts into different formats and platform requirements.
• Assist in developing visual concepts for campaigns, marketing initiatives, and client requirements.
• Participate in basic photography and content shoots, particularly for static imagery and social media content.
• Understand composition, framing, lighting, and basic visual storytelling for photography.
• Take creative feedback positively and make revisions efficiently.
• Stay updated with current design, social media, and visual content trends.
  

Skills & Requirements

• 0–2 years of experience in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field.
• Good understanding of graphic design fundamentals and visual aesthetics.
• Strong working knowledge of Figma.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Knowledge of CorelDRAW.
• Familiarity with Canva.
• Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Knowledge of Affinity tools will be an added advantage.
• Understanding of social media design formats and digital-first creative.
• Basic knowledge of photography and static content shooting.
• Good eye for composition, typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills and willingness to collaborate with different teams.

You should be curious about design, understand what makes a creative engaging, be open to feedback, and have the ability to turn a simple brief into an effective visual.

A portfolio is preferred, including academic, freelance, personal, internship, or professional projects.

Work Setup

This is a remote-first role, allowing you to work remotely while collaborating with the Brandiet team.

However, the role requires you to be comfortable visiting our office once a month for team collaboration, creative discussions, shoots, and other work requirements.
