About the Opportunity

Mercor is hiring Hindi-speaking bilingual writers to help capture and evaluate real, natural voice interactions with a next-generation AI assistant, in partnership with a leading AI lab.

In this role, you will use a specialized version of the application on your own Mac to complete everyday tasks through voice interactions, evaluate the AI's responses, and document results in both Hindi and English as required.

Responsibilities

• Use voice interactions to compose messages, emails, and notes across everyday productivity applications.
• Direct the AI assistant to perform tasks such as generating images, formatting text, applying spreadsheet formulas, and summarizing documents.
• Accurately transcribe spoken queries and prepare cleaned-up versions of transcripts.
• Evaluate and rate AI-generated responses for quality, accuracy, and relevance.
• Record task outcomes and relevant details in a structured tracking sheet.
• Upload supporting voice recordings and task materials to a shared drive.
• Follow project guidelines consistently and perform self-directed quality checks.
• Provide reliable language and interaction data to support the development of natural, voice-driven AI systems.

Required Qualifications

• Native or near-native proficiency in Hindi, with India-based language and cultural familiarity preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow detailed instructions in English.
• Must own a Mac with an Apple Silicon chip (M1, M2, or M3).
• Must be running macOS Sequoia 15.0 or newer.
• Comfortable using common productivity applications, including email, messaging, documents, spreadsheets, and web browsers.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in transcription and data entry.
• Comfortable performing structured quality reviews independently.
• Reliable access to the required device and applications throughout the project.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong familiarity with everyday Hindi communication and conversational language.
• Experience using voice assistants, productivity tools, or AI-powered applications.
• Experience with transcription, content evaluation, data annotation, or quality assurance.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to follow detailed project workflows.
• Ability to identify inconsistencies and maintain high-quality structured records.

• Applicants must have strong Hindi language proficiency and be based in India or otherwise meet the project's language requirements.
• Must have access to a Mac with Apple Silicon M1, M2, or M3.
• Device must run macOS Sequoia 15.0 or newer.
• Must be comfortable following instructions in English.
• Must be available to participate for the project duration.
