Technical Lead – Java

The Technical Lead will be responsible for leading a small team of developers, designing scalable and high-performance applications, reviewing code, resolving technical challenges, and ensuring timely delivery of product enhancements and customer implementations.

The ideal candidate should possess strong hands-on Java development experience, excellent problem-solving skills, and exposure to enterprise-scale applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java technologies.
• Lead a team of developers and provide technical guidance throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in architecture discussions, technical design, and solution reviews.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Work closely with Product Management, QA, DevOps, and Delivery teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and performance issues.
• Contribute to application scalability, security, and performance optimization initiatives.

Technical Skills Required

• Strong hands-on experience in Java 8/11+,, Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA
• Hands-on experience in multithreading and concurrency, Collections Framework, JVM internals and performance tuning
• Good understanding of Microservices Architecture and REST API development
• Experience with Oracle Database, SQL, Query optimization and performance tuning
• Familiarity with IBM MQ, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging platforms
• Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and CI/CD practices
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) will be an advantage
