Job Description:
- Overall program management.
- Program planning and development of a comprehensive implementation strategies aligned with the program goals and objectives
- Execution of the designed implementation strategies within timelines and budgets
- Program monitoring and evaluation
- Stakeholder engagement to foster collaboration and partnerships
- Staff management as per the requirement of the project and organizational policies
- Timely review of program data, conduct analysis to measure progress towards goals and prepare reports.
Skills and experience:
- Candidates with prior experience of at least 3 years of working with the government health systems, familiar with government programs, knowledge and good understanding of national health programs
- Exposure to health research in the domain of maternal and newborn health
- Knowledge and expertise in statistics and quantitative data analysis using Stata/R/SAS/SPSS
- Good leadership qualities, ability to work with large teams
- Peer reviewed publications – desirable
- Expert level skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of qualitative data analysis software like ATLAS.ti or NVivo would be an added advantage
- Good communication, writing and presentation skills; effective interaction ability with government officials.
