What is the Opportunity?

As a Lead Technical Consultant, you will combine deep technical expertise with strong client engagement skills to deliver enterprise SaaS solutions for leading financial institutions. You will work closely with customers to design, implement, and optimize integrations across complex banking environments, bridging modern cloud platforms with enterprise systems.

This role combines software engineering, solution delivery, and customer advocacy, making it ideal for hands-on professionals who enjoy solving technical challenges while working directly with clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-grade software and integration solutions.
• Build scalable applications and integrations using Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Kafka, and PostgreSQL.
• Lead technical delivery from requirements gathering through deployment and go-live.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Conduct technical workshops, design reviews, and solution demonstrations.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Architecture, and Delivery teams to ensure successful outcomes.
• Troubleshoot complex production and integration issues in distributed environments.
• Contribute to reusable frameworks, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor junior team members and support knowledge-sharing across teams.

Must-Have Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Technical Consulting, Customer Engineering, or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Apache Kafka, and PostgreSQL.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, integration patterns, and API-driven architectures.
• Experience with Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with enterprise banking systems and data integration frameworks.
• Proven client-facing experience managing technical discussions, requirements, and stakeholder expectations.
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, TDD/BDD).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex distributed systems.

Preferred

• Experience with banking or core banking platforms.
• Exposure to SaaS implementation and enterprise integration projects.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Passion for mentoring, collaboration, and delivering customer success.
