Role: IT Administrator

Location: Ahmedabad

Role Summary

We are looking for an IT Support / IT Administrator with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in providing day-to-day IT support to users and maintaining IT systems and devices.

The role will primarily involve troubleshooting hardware, software, operating system, network, and user-access issues, along with supporting the organization's IT infrastructure and ensuring smooth day-to-day IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide day-to-day technical support to employees for hardware, software, and system-related issues.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and other IT devices.

- Format systems, install and configure Windows OS, applications, drivers, and required software.

- Diagnose and resolve basic hardware issues and coordinate repairs/replacements when required.

- Set up and configure laptops, desktops, email accounts, and other IT equipment for new employees.

- Manage user accounts, passwords, system access, and basic Microsoft 365 administration.

- Troubleshoot basic LAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and network connectivity issues.

- Support Active Directory and basic Windows Server administration.

- Maintain IT assets, inventory, documentation, and records of issued devices.

- Perform system updates, software installations, backups, and basic security checks.

- Coordinate with vendors/service providers for hardware, networking, and other IT-related issues.

- Ensure IT issues are tracked and resolved within the required timelines.

Preferred Profile

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in IT Support / Desktop Support / System Administration.

- Strong practical knowledge of Windows OS, hardware troubleshooting, system formatting, software installation, and device configuration.

- Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, networking, Wi-Fi, and VPNs.

- Experience supporting laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, and other office IT equipment.

- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication skills and a user-focused approach.

- Ability to independently diagnose common IT issues and take ownership until resolution.

- The ideal candidate should be hands-on and comfortable troubleshooting and resolving day-to-day IT issues rather than being limited to administrative or monitoring activities.
