Job Description: Software Engineer / Senior Engineer (Golang & Python)

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka (Onsite / Hybrid as per company policy)

Total Experience: 3 to 15 Years

Relevant Experience: Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Golang, Microservices, Networking, and Cloud Native technologies.

Position Overview

We are looking for a skilled Golang Software Engineer with strong expertise in building scalable, high-performance microservices and cloud-native applications. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain backend infrastructure with a deep focus on networking and modern cloud architectures.

Key Responsibilities

- Core Development: Design, build, and maintain efficient, scalable, and reliable backend services using Golang.

- Microservices Architecture: Architect and implement high-performance, loosely coupled microservices.

- Cloud-Native Solutions: Develop and deploy applications in cloud-native environments (using Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).

- Networking Integration: Work with networking protocols, API gateways, service meshes, and backend data paths.

- Code Quality & Maintenance: Write clean, readable, well-tested code (unit, integration) and participate in active code reviews.

- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to define architecture, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize application performance.

Requirements & Qualifications

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

- Experience: 3 to 15 years of total software development experience.

- Relevant Hands-on Experience: Minimum 2+ years of direct, practical experience using all of the following:

- Golang: Production-level development, concurrency patterns (goroutines, channels), and standard libraries.

- Microservices: Building RESTful/gRPC APIs, microservice patterns, and distributed systems.

- Networking: Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/2, gRPC), sockets, routing, and network programming.

- Cloud-Native Technologies: Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).

Good to Have:

- Hands-on experience or proficiency with Python (for scripting, automation, or service development).

- Experience with Service Mesh (e.g., Istio, Linkerd) and network security.

- Familiarity with message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) and distributed databases.

Location Requirement

- Work Location: Bangalore only. Candidates must be based in Bangalore or willing to relocate immediately.
