Proposal Writer (US Hours)

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Proposal Writer to support the development of high-quality, compliant, and compelling federal proposals. The successful candidate will work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), proposal team and leadership to produce clear, persuasive content that aligns with solicitation requirements, evaluation criteria, and Constellation’s win themes.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Write and edit US federal proposal responses (executive summaries, technical sections, staffing plans, past performance).
  • Review RFP/RFI/RFQ documents and create compliance matrices and outlines.
  • Ensure proposals meet federal compliance and formatting requirements.
  • Work with SMEs and proposal team to develop strong responses.
  • Manage proposal content, templates, and reusable materials.
  • Align responses with agency requirements and evaluation criteria.
  • Ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency in proposal documents.
  • Support proposal deadlines and submission process.
  • Assist with formatting, editing, and graphics coordination.


Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree required.
  • 5 years of US federal proposal writing/government RFP experience required.
  • Knowledge of federal procurement and compliance process.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Ability to convert technical inputs into clear content.
  • Advanced Microsoft Word skills (formatting, styles).
  • Strong organization and stakeholder communication skills.
