Job Profile Summary

The Migration Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and governing day-to-day migration activities across multiple customers, workstreams, and technical teams. This role serves as the central coordination point between Project Managers, Program Managers, technical delivery teams, service management teams, customers, and third-party partners to ensure migration activities are planned, scheduled, executed, and tracked in accordance with program objectives.

The role combines migration coordination and PMO responsibilities, including migration wave scheduling, migration readiness management, customer communications, ServiceNow or any ticket governance, reporting, tracking of planned versus actual delivery status, and risk and dependency management. The Migration Coordinator is expected to maintain accurate migration data, provide visibility into program progress, proactively identify issues, and support effective program governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day migration wave scheduling and coordination activities across multiple customers, services, applications, and infrastructure environments.
• Maintain migration schedules and ensure alignment with program milestones, migration roadmaps, and delivery objectives.
• Coordinate migration dates, resource availability, dependencies, readiness activities, and prerequisites required for successful execution.
• Track migration readiness and ensure required approvals; validations, access requirements, and prerequisites are completed before scheduled migration dates.
• Identify scheduling conflicts, resource constraints, delivery risks, and dependency-related challenges, escalating where appropriate.
• Manage migration-related customer communications, including scheduling notifications, reminders, status updates, confirmations, and follow-up actions.
• Maintain high standards of ServiceNow or any other ticket management governance across migration activities.
• Ensure migration-related tickets are accurately created, assigned, categorized, updated, reviewed, and closed according to agreed processes.
• Maintain migration trackers, action logs, RAID logs, readiness trackers, dashboards, and governance documentation.
• Maintain risk, issue, action, and dependency registers and ensure assigned owners actively progress in remediation activities.
• Act as the primary coordination point between migration teams, project managers, service management teams, operations, customers, and external vendors.

• Proven ability to identify schedule slippage, risks, dependencies, and blockers and drive appropriate follow-up actions.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields required.

Certifications

• PMP, CAPM, or equivalent Project Management Certification preferred.
• Agile Foundation, Scrum Fundamentals, or comparable project delivery certification preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 3-6 years of experience in PMO, project coordination, migration coordination, transition management, service delivery, or related operational roles.
