JOB TITLE: Senior Executive/Executive Training
POSITION’S OBJECTIVE: (Brief on position’s objective)
Identifying the training needs of corporate employees, preparing training calendar, imparting trainings, doing research on trainings basis the evolving industry scenario.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Training Needs Analysis based on the competency Mapping, functional feedback, performance feedback etc. in consultation with line managers
· All mandatory Induction Programs to be conducted before confirmation
· Ensure all employees receive training as per statutory compliance (E.g. - Disaster Management, POSH etc.)
· Conduct Skill / Knowledge / Behavioural / Process / Product trainings in the region as per the guidelines
· Compilation of monthly / fortnightly / Specific Training session related reports (Training log, Assessments, Training Calendar, Training feedback etc)
· Provide feedback on training needs of the market region to corporate Training division to be able to have customized Performance Improvement Plans for every employee
· To ensure all training related processes for the current and new employees are followed as per the defined process
· Monitor Employee assessment during probation period and ensuring Mid-term, final reviews are conducted within given timelines
· Ensure Mentor Mentee program is successfully completed and all confirmation decisions for the roles at the stores are taken post clearing the skill test
· Suggest Career opportunities for employees within the company based on IJP applications / requirements
· Support in Performance Assessment during Annual Appraisals
· Regular store / Market Warehouse / procurement Hub visits for employee training and assessment activities
· Delivering and overseeing the training of individuals or groups of employees
· Provide proactive support, advice and guidance on all training issues
· To manage all training logistics related activities like venue and training equipment arrangement, communication with the participants etc for smooth training implementation
· Share best practices from the market to the team and take initiative to introduce new practices in alignment with the company goals
· Develop relationships (internal & external) with key stake holders to build HR & Training credibility
· Ensure client satisfaction
· To influence and convince internal stakeholders and drive responsiveness of the department
· Self-development / to keep updated on new training trends in the market
· Take responsibility for own learning and development by recognizing and taking advantage of all opportunities to learn and by maintaining a professional/personal portfolio of learning.
· Any other duties consistent with the main purpose of the Department and company, as may be specified from time to time
JOB SPECIFICATION: (QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE)
Years of Functional Experience: 4 - 8 years of work experience in Training, Learning & Development with Preferred Industry - Hospitality, Retail
Prior experience of conducting Process, Behavioral and Soft Skills Training is mandatory
Degree/Diploma: MBA - HR/Diploma in training
Knowledge & Skills:
· Knowledge of Retail / Hospitality Industry
· Experience of conducting behavioural and skill training (Classroom and on the job)
· Learning and Development
· Experience of traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations etc)
· Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training manuals
· Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
· General understanding of HR
· Discretion, with an understanding of the need for confidentiality at all times
