Education

Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience

Experience

• 6-15 Years of prior experience as a software engineer or data engineer in a fast-paced, technical, problem-solving environment
• Cloud Data Warehouse experience - Snowflake
• Expert in Advanced SQL
• 2-3 years Experience with data extraction tools (Fivetran, Airbyte, etc.)
• 2-3 years experience in Python
• Experience with version control tools - dbt and GitHub preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively and influence others
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment and shift gears quickly
• Experience with event tracking software (Segment, Tealium, etc)
• Data modeling best practices for transactional and analytical processing

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with other engineers and technical managers to become valued member of an autonomous, cross-functional team
• Build data pipelines from core services and products into our analytics platform.
• Evaluate and apply best practice techniques for warehouse management and optimization
• Develop deployment and release of functionality through software integration to support devops and CI/CD pipelines
