Position Overview: The Business Development Executive (BDE) will play a crucial
role in driving business growth and expanding our market presence. The ideal candidate
should have a proven track record in identifying, developing, and closing new business
opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and
emerging opportunities.
Analyse competitors and industry trends to develop a competitive edge.
Lead Generation and Prospecting:
Identify and qualify potential leads through various channels, including online research,
networking events, referrals, and cold outreach.
Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
Client Engagement and Relationship Building:
Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers, stakeholders, and
influencers.
Conduct effective client meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations.
Proposal Development and Pitching:
Create compelling and customized proposals that address the specific needs and pain
points of potential clients.
Deliver persuasive presentations and pitches to prospective clients.
Negotiation and Deal Closure:
Lead negotiations with clients, ensuring terms and conditions are mutually beneficial
and meet company objectives.
Successfully close deals and achieve revenue targets.
Sales Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies, including target account
identification, territory planning, and sales forecasting.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development,
and customer success, to ensure a seamless client onboarding process.
Provide regular updates on sales activities, progress, and forecasts to the management
team.
Market Feedback and Insights:
Gather and relay market feedback and insights to inform product development and
marketing efforts.
Qualifications
Bachelor's / Master degree in relevant field.
Proven track record of 3-5 years in business development or a related field.
Strong understanding of Digital marketing trends, competitors, and market dynamics.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
Proficient in using CRM software and other relevant sales tools.
